You will learn that it is the only city in the world with a National Park. If you are interested to learn the various cultures of the Kenyan people, you will do it at The Bomas of Kenya. From Nairobi, you can head to The Great Rift Valley to see for yourself geographical nature changes. There are a lot of lakes in this area. They include Lake Naivasha, Lake Magadi, Lake Bogoria, Lake Nakuru, and others. At Lake Naivasha you will enjoy hippo watching, boat riding, and fishing. As if that is not enough, it is the home to the largest geothermal project in Africa. If you love roses then you will get them free in this town. Locally, it is known as the “flower town”.

Other places near the town you will enjoy include Hell’s Gate National Park, and Mount Longonot. On your way to Nakuru, you will see Lake Elementaita, which is next to Kariandusi Valley, the home of early man. At Lake Nakuru, you are free to watch the Lesser and Greater Flamingos. It is also the place to see white and black rhinos. If you are angry, you should head to Lake Bogoria and boil your eggs thanks to the natural hot springs. You should be afraid of crocodiles at Lake Turkana. 

There are more important places you must visit. You should not miss one of the Seven Wonders of the World, wildebeest cross at the Mara River in Maasai Mara game reserve. They are not crossing in thousands but in millions at the feast of crocodiles. The game reserve is known as the home of “the Big Five.” As you travel, you will see endless plains with wild animals grazing. This makes the place great for safari photos.

You will need months to cover 30% of the natural attractions in Kenya. Others include, Thomson Falls, Coast Beaches, Tsavo National Park, Amboseli National Park. If you travel to Nyeri, then you will be lucky to see the second largest mountain in Africa, Mount Kenya. The town is home to Aberdare National Park and Mau Mau graves.
